Empowerment Day 2018

All proceeds for this event go to the Southeastern Chapter Scholarship Fund. Each year we give out between 10-12 $1,000.00 Scholarships. Since 2002 we have given out over $130,000.00 to students of parents that work in the facilities department.

This is an outstanding opportunity to showcase your products or services to the purchasing decision makers and users of the school districts. All booths and exhibits will be located in one room.

Thursday, June 28, 2018
Mt. Kisco Holiday Inn
Exhibit setup will be from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. on June 28th
Exhibits are scheduled to be open from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Booths must be dismantled and removed by 3:00 p.m.

Exhibit booth fees and info:
Exhibit booths are $400.00 for Associate members and $500.00 for non-members for contracts and payment received by May 12, 2018.

After May 12, 2018 the fee is $500.00 for Associate members and $600.00 for non-members.

The booths are 10’ wide by 8’ deep and are equipped with a table, two chairs, and table cloth if needed. Booth fee includes: 2 vender attendees and 2 lunches. Additional booths are $150.00 each and $25.00 for each additional lunch.

Payment is due with the submission of the contract. Contracts are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to approval by the Empowerment Day Committee.

The only guarantee of reserving space is payment with the contract.

2018 Meeting Dates

Unless notified otherwise, all meetings of the Southeastern Zone Chapter of the New York State School Facilities Association, Inc. (NYSSFA) are held at the Holiday Inn in Mount Kisco, New York.
Start times:  REGULAR meetings for Members and Associate Members begin at 12:30 PM, with doors open at 12:15 PM. SPECIAL meetings for Members ONLY begin at 11:30 AM unless notified otherwise.

Good news for our retirees! We value our retirees and would like see you attend our functions. The executive board recently voted in favor of discounting the cost for retirees to attend monthly meetings and special functions. Here is how it will apply to you.

Fully Retired Members - not drawing an income from a school district or working for a vendor who provides services to school districts.
